Matricular Revision

My joy is in knowing that,

I am always present,

Awake or swimming in the unconscious,

Present when I am afraid, small, boxed in, claustrophobic,

Furiously thrashing in an open sea of limitations.

Present also,

When I am satiated and melted,

Boundless, without weight, gravity or ceiling.

Upon the structures of my nervous system,

The hieroglyphs read, old, barren, too deep, too shallow,

Not enough, too much!

Now the glaring glyphs of lies have been worn down,

Eroded by wrinkles, linear time and gravity,

I can barely make out their poisonous whispers.

Their message has become muffled and irrelevant.

My new matrix sports some different symbols,

The ionic channels and synaptic pathways,

Nerve conduits, roots and branches,

Vibrate to a new frequency,

Singing out these fresh and welcomed lyrics,

"Rumors of my unacceptability have been greatly exaggerated!"
